Soup Starter Workshop: Soup in a Jar

Looking for a fun and creative way to lessen the stress of family mealtime for the fall and winter seasons? Join the LSU AgCenter for an interactive Soup in a Jar workshop designed for adults. Participants will discover how simple dry ingredients, herbs, and spices can be layered in a jar to create convenient and delicious homemade soup starters.

During this hands-on workshop, each participant will assemble their own Soup in a Jar creation to take home while learning tips for easy meal preparation and pantry storage. Attendees will also have the opportunity to sample two flavorful Soup in a Jar recipes and gather ideas for creating hearty, budget-friendly meals at home.

This workshop is offered at no cost, but space is limited, and registration is required.
