"Hands down, one of THE BEST Beatles bands I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of 'em. Do yourself a favor and see The Walrus," says Chuck Gunderson (Author of "Some Fun Tonight: The Beatles Historic Tours of 1964-1966").
The Walrus is not your typical Beatles cover band, there are no wigs, fake accents, or gimmicks. Just four of New Orleans' most seasoned musicians performing some of the greatest songs ever written, purely for the love of the music. From Beatlemania-era favorites like "I Want to Hold Your Hand" to psychedelic classics like "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," rockers like "I Saw Her Standing There," and beloved ballads like "Blackbird," The Walrus delivers faithful renditions with their own unmistakable New Orleans flair. Another New Orleans based band, the Electric Yat Quartet brings a fresh, energetic approach to classical, jazz, rock and pop music. With both acoustic and electric capabilities and training in classical and jazz, the quartet is known for versatility and dynamic performances and collaborations. Come enjoy the Beatles Experience with these world-class musicians, classic songs, and the unmistakable spirit of New Orleans!
